Piscary is a fishing companion app with social features (a community feed, comments, profiles). We take the safety of minors extremely seriously. This page sets out our Child Safety Standards and our approach to preventing child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), in line with Google Play’s Child Safety Standards policy and Apple’s App Store guidelines.

Zero tolerance for CSAE/CSAM

We have a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any content or behaviour that sexually exploits, endangers or abuses a minor. This includes, without limitation, sexualised depictions of minors, grooming, sextortion, trafficking, and the solicitation or sharing of such material.

Any such content is:

• removed immediately when detected or reported;
• met with an immediate and permanent ban of the responsible account;
• reported to the competent authorities and specialised hotlines, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and, in France, the Pharos platform (internet-signalement.gouv.fr) and INHOPE-member hotlines.

Minimum age

Piscary requires users to be at least 15 years old (the age of digital consent in France under Article 8 GDPR). The app is not directed to children under 15.

How we prevent and respond to abuse

• Content filtering. User-generated text (comments, display names, published catch notes) passes through an automated objectionable-content filter before publication.
• In-app reporting. Every catch, comment, profile and user can be reported directly in the app, with a dedicated reason for child endangerment (CSAE).
• Blocking. Any user can block another user, hiding their content immediately.
• Human review within 24 hours. Reports notify our moderation team, which reviews and may remove content and ban the responsible user within 24 hours of receiving a report.
• Standards enforcement. Our Terms of Use prohibit all objectionable content; violations lead to removal and bans.

How to report a child-safety concern

• Use the report tool inside the app (⋯ menu on a catch, comment, or profile → Report → Child endangerment (CSAE)).

We aim to acknowledge and act on child-safety reports as a priority. Where a legal obligation applies, we preserve relevant data and report to the appropriate authorities.
