This page explains how to delete your Piscary account and the associated data. Deletion is immediate and permanent: once done, it cannot be undone.
Delete your account from the app
- Open Piscary.
- Go to Profile → Settings → Danger zone.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Deletion is then immediate and permanent on the server side.
What is deleted
Deletion permanently erases the following account data:
- your account (authentication credentials);
- your profile (username, avatar, total points);
- your synchronized catches;
- your catch photos stored on our servers;
- your comments;
- your likes;
- your friendships (requests and acceptances);
- your reports and blocks.
Your local data (on the device) is additionally erased when you delete the relevant items in the app or when you uninstall the app.
Data that may be retained
After deletion, we keep no profile or content identifying you for service-use purposes. On a limited basis, some information may be retained for a strictly necessary period where required by law or security, for example:
- technical logs and anti-fraud / anti-abuse signals (for instance related to ad delivery or moderation), kept minimally and for a limited time;
- items required to comply with legal, accounting or security obligations (for instance in case of a dispute or a legal request).
Such data is kept only for the time required, then deleted or anonymized. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.
Delete your account without the app
If you cannot access the app, write to contact@piscary.app from the email address associated with your account, with the subject “Piscary account deletion”. We will process your request within a maximum of 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity in order to protect your account.
Important: Piscary Pro subscription
Deleting your Piscary account does not cancel any Piscary Pro subscription. You must cancel it separately:
- iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Piscary.
- Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Piscary.
